I want to keep this short, I don't want it to end up looking like it's my goodbye to my high school days.
Here I go...
Our lesson this grading was all about Basic Photoshop. I liked it because I'm already accustomed to some of the basic tools and commands/adjustments in Photoshop.
This grading I am proud to say that I have completed all of my activities, requirements, project, and quizzes on time. I am not in a hurry to pass anything and I have enough time to be explore the Photoshop world more (tools which are not in our lessons).
I liked this grading period. I feel like even though our meetings were limited, I still learned a lot. I was able to learn more than I expected. I am happy and satisfied with my work as well. Hopefully, Ma'am Vera Cruz will be able to appreciate all of my efforts this grading.
I'm a bit sad that my days in the ICT room is numbered. I will miss the days when I would walk slow just so I would be late in class. I will miss Computer 10. I will miss a lot of things and experiences, I know I will not be able to take any of them back.
Lastly, Ma'am Evelyn mamimiss kita. Thanks for everything! I promise not to shout so much anymore. (Promises are meant to be broken.) hihih. <3

My Dream, My Future
My post here is what I have written for my English formal theme where in I have written my vision for my future.
This is the new age. The new generation. Welcome to
the year 4000. I bet you’re wondering, so what’s new? Well, not much have
changed but we now live under water. A new song genre also came up, it’s called
Kanenata. It’s weird and wild, much more disturbing than punk. I can’t really
describe it properly. Are you ready to get deeper into the future?
First
of all, I’m not really that happy with the living under water thing. I have to
always make sure that I don’t have any leaks on my home or else I’ll die. Plus,
transportation is really expensive. Only the rich and famous can maintain a
Car-submarines. That means I have to walk. All. The. Time.
Kanenata
isn’t really my type of music, but I like the people who introduced it. The
Kelians, they’re from Mars. They’ve been here for about a decade. I like their
culture and their anatomy. They have little antlers and they have to smile at
every fellow Kelian they meet. Their feet are weird though, they only have 3
toes. I also would like to tell you that our solar system is now called Newsis,
but the planets still have the same name years ago.
And
by the way, our scientists are in a whirlwind lately! They have invented the
Neurotelemagnetic Device which saves all the information from your brain (even
the ones you didn’t know that you actually knew) through a magnet which saves
it in a microchip. We also now have this theme park located in Mars. You have
to ride the Hydrotranomis, which is like a rocket ship and a transporter all in
one.
I
also have a friend named Alice. Sometimes I like to call her “Alice by the
Newsis.” And she is much like the classic “Alice in Wonderland.” But instead of
going to Wonderland, she goes to different planets by schedule. She’s a mutant
by the experiments of different scientists. She’s definitely unique, no one
else can transport all by themselves without a machine.
And
lastly, I have changed. I am new, I no longer have the name I used to have. I
don’t have the family now too. Only friends, because it is said in the law that
no one is allowed to marry until the age of 30 and no one can have children
more than 2. I am new because I now feel better about myself. I don’t doubt
myself anymore, and I don’t regret who I am now. I am proud of who I am, rich
or not, successful or not. I am proud of myself because I am happy, and that
the demon that says I couldn't have died. Again, welcome to the year 4000, my
year.
It's a brand new year and I don't feel any different. I honestly hate New Year's. Why? First of all, people get all excited, and that results to making up New Year's Resolution which they expect to attain but never really do. But here I am making up my own "New Year, New Me."
This year, I will be better at handling responsibilities. I will not be rushing my school requirements a day or night before the deadline. I will also be better at balancing my laziness (to only be lazy at days when I don't have any homework due in the same week). I'll try to clean up my room this year, FOR REAL now. I'm going to college this year so I have to get rid of all the papers piled up under my bed. (I don't hide it under my bed, I have a compartment.)
I want to be more confident too. I want to be able to stand in front of an audience without my hands shaking or without my palms sweating. Maybe this year, I'll also have a wider vocabulary. I'll try to read more during the summer.
I don't really expect to attain all of the things I've written above. I don't know if I'll be any different from last year. The world is so uncertain, that is why I believe that the change in me will be or should be half spontaneous and half planned.

Change, It Starts With Me
Of all the leadership seminar I have been to, I can say that CHANGE is a word always emphasized. It is important for it is one of the roots of the tree of success. Your strive to attain it is what makes you initiate the work needed for your planned victory.
You know what change means. I know that you are capable of changing your own clothes and your remote's batteries, but can you change the world you are living in for the better?
Yes.
How?
Big things come from small things. You need to be able to know who you are: your capabilities and limitations. After which, you have to make sure YOU are truly ready for the change you want. You have the power to do something. You have the power to create something bigger than you, and you have the responsibility to initiate GOOD change. Change that will help you and the people around you rise.

Kannawidan: Ylocos Festival
Kannawidan means inheritance. The culture and tradition lives on and is passed through generations. The Filipino and Ylocano values, cultures, and traditions are revived through the festivities during the month of February.
Here are some photos I took during the festival:
There was a carnival at the middle of the Quirino Stadium and stalls by the different municipalities of Ilocos Sur around it.
Visual Arts Competitions, Souvenir Making Contest, and T-Shirt Design Competition was also held at the Quirino Stadium during the Siglat Eskwela Awarding Ceremony. The theme for the competitions was the spirit of Kannawidan.
Kannawidan is an awaited festivity not only by the locals but also by the tourists that have become an avid fan of the beauty of Ilocos Sur.

Ms. Samantha Gloria Singson also made an appearance and speech for being the first Most Outstanding Student Leader recipient.
